About Iowisota

The name IOWISOTA is a combination of Iowa, Wisconsin and Minnesota. We are at the point where all three States meet… sometimes called the “Tri-State Area”, the “Driftless Area”, perhaps the “Coulee Region”. It is a special part of the Midwest… an area rich with water, forests, topography, and so much more. Iowisota is our little piece of this special area, nearly 200 acres of forest that we get to steward.

We will eventually be hosting retreats and educational events, and welcoming guests to stay in one of the four guest bedrooms or in the cabin.

We haven’t done this before; It will take us awhile to get the place set up for visitors and to develop the website.
